I’m sure you all know about The Brooklyn Brewery, and most likely drink it often. So I thought you should know that they’ve launched two new beers to keep an eye out for AND they have plans to open a new brewery in Stolkholm, Sweden, the New Carnegie Brewery. They’ve even created a beer in honor of the expansion called the Hammarby Syndrome. It’s an amber colored ale that incorporates traditional Swedish ingredients like spelt malt and spruce needles.The second new beer is called the Brooklyn Wild Streak; this one is a Belgian inspired golden law, barrel aged and bottled re-fermented from priming sugar, Champagne yeast,and wild yeast strain, Brettanomyces.
On a more general note, if you haven’t been to Brooklyn Brewery for their happy hour, you must make plans to do so soon. I’m so excited that The Brooklyn Brewery is teaming up with The Sauce on March 5th for a Coastal Escape dinner from chef Eric Bolyard. Luckily for you, there are two tickets left, $80 each.
