I admit– I’m a little bit of an ice cream snob. I love thick, cream, New England-style ice cream made with the freshest local ingredients. And I haven’t been able to find a place I like in NYC yet…. until now. Ample Hills Creamery in Prospect Heights is some of the best ice cream I’ve had in the city. The shop serves over 20 flavors, and in the tough decision between the bananamon (kind of like banana pudding) and the mint chocolate flake, I selected the mint. don’t let the summer end without a sundae from Ample Hills; or at least a cone.
